Terrible Panda-Suv crash on State Road 126: one dead

Serious accident this morning on State Road 126, on the outskirts of San Giovanni Suergiu: the toll is one dead and two injured.
The collision involved a Fiat Panda, driven by Fabiano Locci, 70, who was the victim of the impact, and a Porsche Macan with two people on board.
According to an initial reconstruction, the Panda was entering the main road, arriving from a side road, when the other vehicle was approaching.
The impact was extremely violent: both vehicles ended up off the road. While the occupants of the SUV escaped with some minor injuries, Locci remained trapped inside the passenger compartment: the 118 rescuers tried to revive him on the spot, where the firefighters and the carabinieri also intervened, but it was all in vain: his heart stopped beating before he could be loaded on board the ambulance.
