Collision on 554: car overturns, traffic jam towards Cagliari

Chaos in the afternoon on state road 554, near the Civil Motorization Office, in the direction of Cagliari, due to a road accident involving three vehicles, one of which overturned in the middle of the roadway.

According to initial reconstructions, the multiple pileup caused long queues and completely blocked traffic, forcing the authorities to temporarily close the road to allow rescue and safety operations.

The firefighters, the Cagliari traffic police and a 118 ambulance intervened on the scene. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. The dynamics of the accident are still being examined by the agents. In the meantime, it is recommended to avoid the area and find alternative routes to reach the city.
