The agents of the Olbia Police Station have accompanied a citizen of Tunisian origin to the CPR in Macomer, who will be expelled from the national territory.
The man – who had already been the recipient of an expulsion order in December 2023, which he had never complied with – was tracked down at a construction site, where he was camping out with a fellow countryman, after having entered by “breaking through” the fence.
The report came from a private citizen who recognized one of the two foreigners who in the previous days had harassed two saleswomen at a shop in the historic center.
Once on site, the officers identified the two foreigners and accompanied them to the police station to start the investigations. From these it emerged that one of the two - already known to the police for drug and property crimes - had remained in Italy despite an initial expulsion order. Then the transfer to Macomer.
