A few more days and the Sinis coast will also be safer. From tomorrow 20 July lifeguards will be on duty. Waterland Nuoto of Oristano, which participated in the expression of interest published by the Municipality, will take care of the service.

The stations will be in several areas: in Is Arutas, which has always been the most popular beach, in Maimoni, in the village of San Giovanni di Sinis and also in Mari Ermi. In the latter there will also be an ambulance, ready to intervene in case of need. The sea rescue service, as stated in the decision awarding the service signed by the director of the Sinis Marine Protected Area Massimo Marras, will last for 38 days. No more due to the few resources that the Municipality of Cabras received from the Region.

Just 37 thousand euros for 40 kilometers of coast to monitor and the many swimmers present. Plus another 15 thousand euros allocated by the administration. Lifeguards will be present initially on weekends, then every day until August 15th. The mayor of Cabras Andrea Abis has repeatedly denounced the problem linked to the few resources for the territory. But compared to last year the figure has not changed.
