The community of Girasole is in revolt against Abbanoa . The town has been without drinking water for four days and, despite the efforts of the technicians, the situation has reached dramatic levels.

The crack on the old pipeline, downstream of Villagrande, has not yet been repaired . Users have also run out of supplies in domestic cisterns, some bars have had to lower their shutters because without water they cannot carry on their business.

Emergency also in the homes of the elderly who are making a living with small supplies obtained from the basins. The mayor, Lodovico Piras, no longer knows where to turn to ask for help: "Abbanoa at least send us the tankers, we can't live like this."

The mayor is the lightning rod of the protest: his phone is boiling, bombarded with calls from residents furious at the poor service. «I am satisfied with the work carried out by the technicians in the field, who are doing their utmost to resolve the fault, but the problem here is the system which is leaking everywhere. We are in a total emergency."
