Leaves her 3-year-old daughter alone at home, mother arrested

She left her three-year-old daughter at home alone and was arrested for child abandonment.

The story comes from Turin, Barriera district of Milan.

When her mother went out, the little girl began to cry incessantly, so much so that the alarmed neighbors called the police. Initially the thought was that the mother may have fallen ill inside the apartment. That's why the firefighters also arrived to open the door.

But while the operations were underway, the 40-year-old returned, explaining that she had been gone for an hour while her daughter slept.

The little girl was entrusted to her aunt.
