The 43-year-old chef from Pisa, also famous on TV for programs such as La prova del cuoco and Cuochi e fiamme, armed with a kitchen knife allegedly threatened residents of via Signorelli, in Chinatown, in the heart of Milan.
Rugiati is the owner of "Food loft", a 350 square meter venue that hosts corporate events and gala dinners. On Thursday evening, an argument broke out with the tenants of the building, probably due to the noise coming from the venue, and the chef, according to witnesses, went out into the street with one of the knives he uses for work, yelling and threatening the neighbors who were on the balcony. At that point, someone called the police, who rushed to the scene to carry out all the necessary checks.
The weapon was seized and the 43-year-old was reported at large.
