A new tragedy has struck the family of Giorgio Noris, the 19-year-old from Fagnano Olona who drowned in Sardinia on 26 July, where he was on holiday .
In the past few hours, the young man's maternal grandfather, Silvano Taddeo, also died.
According to the local press, he could not handle the great pain of losing his nephew. The funeral is scheduled for today, while that of the 19-year-old will take place on Monday.
Giorgio Noris was spending a few days with friends in the Loiri Porto San Paolo area. While he was swimming in Cala Girgolu, on the San Teodoro coast, he felt ill. The alarm was raised, help arrived but there was nothing left to do for the 19-year-old.
The medical examiner determined that the young man drowned, probably following an illness.
