Zeddiani, two days of events to remember Aunt Veronica

Workshops, exhibitions and shows to remember, enhance and for many discover Zia Veronica, the naïve artist originally from Zeddiani, awarded many times and loved for her colorful works.
On October 5 and 6, a rich program of events, this year dedicated to the animal world. The afternoon of the first day will be the conference “Animali(a) Mundi”, at 4 pm at Montegranatico. In the evening, in the square of the church of Madonna delle Grazie, concert of Janas. On Sunday, art will take to the streets with the painting competition: from 9 am, different artists will work on their works on the theme “Aunt Veronica and the animal world”, which will be exhibited at 6 pm in Montegranatico.
At 7:30 pm, in Piazza Ulivi, the three most appreciated artists will be awarded. In many streets of the town the works of the artist from Zeddiani will be on display. As well as in the Town Hall and in the former elementary school. For the little ones instead artistic workshops. For the occasion then guided visits to the church of the Madonna della Grazie. At 3 pm Sardinian dances by the Folk Group of San Nicolò d'Arcidano; at 11 am, 4 pm and 5 pm the teachers of the civic school of Music of Montiferru "Nino Dispenza" will perform. Finally in Piazza degli Ulivi at 6 pm there will be the show "Cantico del Mare".
