Zecchino d'Oro is back, among the young singers Elisabetta from Sassari and Andrea from Decimomannu

There will also be the Sardinians Elisabetta Obino and Andrea Trullu among the 19 little contestants of the Zecchino d'Oro which, in the year in which both the 70th anniversary of Rai and that of the Antoniano of Bologna are celebrated, has reached its 67th edition.

"When I grow up I want to be a singer, an explorer and I'm learning to play the guitar," says Elisabetta. And why not, also "a mermaid or a vampire because I love vampires." "When I wasn't even 3 years old I took part in a choir that sang the songs of the Zecchino d'Oro, despite the pandemic I continued to sing online with my teacher, then last year I discovered the musical that I was passionate about."
"In life I like to play the piano, play soccer and score lots of goals," says Andrea: "I've always had a passion for music! Before I learned to walk I used to dance baby dance in campsites on vacation with my family, then at the first concert I attended I fell in love with the drums, then listening to Einaudi I became passionate about the piano and now... I discovered singing but I would also like to learn to play the guitar like my brother."
The program will be broadcast live on Rai 1 with the first two episodes on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November, from 5:05 pm to 6:45 pm, and with the final, which will decree the winning song among the 14 competing, on Sunday 1 December, from 5:20 pm to 8:00 pm. The hosts of the semi-finals will be Carolina Benvenga (at her second experience) and Lorenzo Baglioni (at his debut at Antoniano), while the host of the final will be Carlo Conti, who has announced many guests to make up the jury of greats: Tosca D'Aquino, Carolina Rey and Lino Banfi for the first episode; Gabriele Cirilli and Daniela Ferolla for the second, in which Banfi also returns; in the final Caterina Balivo, Elisabetta Ferracini, Bianca Guaccero. Guests of the final will be Ricchi e Poveri with their latest song.
As per tradition, in addition to the adult jury, there will also be a jury of children voting for the songs, to which will be added the vote of the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano. The votes will then be added to those of the final on Sunday, December 1st. The 14 new songs are signed by 36 authors, both experts in children's music and actors, teachers, writers, producers and great artists, including Red Canzian, Luca Argentero, Johnson Righeira, Piero Romitelli, Andrea Mingardi, Enrico Galiano, Massimo Zanotti, Giulia Luzi, Thru Collected, Max Elias Kleinschmidt.
Also this year, Zecchino d'Oro supports Operazione Pane, Antoniano's campaign aimed at raising funds to support the 20 Franciscan soup kitchens present in Italy and the 5 active in the world (1 in Syria, 3 in Ukraine and 1 in Romania) through the solidarity number 45538.
