Zelensky changes the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has replaced the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, appointing Major General Andriy Gnatov, previously Deputy Chief of the General Staff, as the new Chief of Staff.

Rbc-Ukraine reports. Gnatov replaces Anatoly Barhylevych. The changeover is connected among other things to the need to "increase the efficiency of vertical management of the armed forces, in particular in the process of reorganization and implementation of the structure, decision-making with the Commander in Chief, implementation of combat experience in planning and management of troops."
