The Ukrainian president has already arrived in the UK and brought forward the bilateral meeting with Starmer.

Then, at 2 pm, at Lancaster House, the actual summit, to which the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, have been invited, together with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, the Italian Prime Minister Meloni, the outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the Dutchman Dick Schoof, and the Danish Mrs Mette Frederiksen.

A format like that of the summit recently convened in Paris by Macron, whose invitations were also extended to the leaders of Norway (Jonas Gahr St›re), Sweden (Ulf Kristersson), Finland (Petteri Orpo), the Czech Republic (Petr Fiala) and Romania (Marcel Ciolacu). As for Turkey, the participation of the Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, is expected.
