This morning's group leaders' conference also confirmed the agreement between the factions on the procedure to follow for the Suitable Areas bill. In the center-right, only Forza Italia insists that Pratobello 24 officially enter the commission.

"We continue to carry forward our initiative", explained the FI group leader Angelo Cocciu, "we immediately asked for the proposal of a popular initiative to be brought to the committee, even yesterday, and the response was negative, we have been close to this law from the beginning".

Piero Maieli stressed that "we do not want to be in any way complicit in bill 45", and confirmed that they will leave the Chamber when it is time to vote on the Suitable Areas bill. Along the same lines is the councilor of the League Alessandro Sorgia. In any case, the protagonists are keen to point out, "there is no split in the centre-right".

The agreement will bear fruit already in the afternoon, during the work of the Chamber convened for the afternoon. The aim is to close article one and the first of the requests put forward by the opposition will also find concreteness, that of inserting the reference to the Statute in the part in which it provides for the competence of the Region in urban planning matters.

Umberto Ticca of the Reformers also specified that "the agreement is aimed at continuing the work of the Chamber, in reality between the majority and the opposition no agreement has been reached. These are the minimum corrections, respecting the roles. The minority has said in every way that the debate should have also included Pratobello, and that in any case the draft law Suitable Areas should have contained some of the principles of the proposal signed by 210 thousand Sardinians. We have registered the majority's openness only on this second point: and in every way we are trying to improve a law (the Suitable Areas) that was born badly".
