With the arrival of the hot season, the cultural initiatives hosted by the archaeological museum of Senorbì multiply. The “E-state at the Museum” exhibition comes to life! promoted by the Domu Nosta museum (Madn) and the Domu Nosta cooperative.
On Friday 12 July the Madn square in via Scaledda 1 hosts the second appointment of the conference cycle "In the sign of Tanit". At 7pm the meeting entitled "Cults in rural contexts of Punic Sardinia" will begin, organized by Carla Del Vais, professor of Phoenician-Punic Archeology at the University of Cagliari, currently involved together with her colleague Marco Giuman, professor of Classical archeology by Unica, in the direction of the new archaeological excavation campaign that the University of Cagliari is conducting on the Santu Teru hill in the Senorbì countryside. «The profound knowledge of the Phoenician Punic world and the themes proposed in the scheduled conference make the presence of Carla del Vais, within our summer schedule, particularly precious», underlines the director of the museum and archaeological park Elisabetta Frau.
In recent weeks, an important audience attended the presentation of the book "The kitchen, the dwelling and the encumbrance of imagination" by Patrizio Perra, an initiative promoted in collaboration with the Sirigu Dairy and the Trexenta Winery. Participating and interesting spectators were also present at the conferences "The Goddess Tanit and the Moon" organized by Momo Zucca. The events at the museum are designed for adults and children: until the end of July, educational-museum workshops for children aged 6 to 13 will be held.
