Wind lashes Gallura: fallen trees, damaged roofs, uprooted antennas
Overwork for the fire brigade teams, with dozens of interventionsIn Gallura, firefighters have been working tirelessly since late afternoon yesterday, November 20, to deal with the damage caused by strong winds.
The 115 teams went into action due to the numerous trees in danger, to secure roofs due to falling tiles or to torn antennas, gutters detached by the violent gusts. The interventions continued also during the night.
Particular criticality in the municipality of Santa Teresa Gallura , where the Arzachena firefighters have carried out around ten interventions, and in the islands of La Maddalena and Caprera where the city team has been working continuously since yesterday.
Right in Caprera , a centuries-old pine tree that fell due to the very strong gusts of mistral wind has been made safe.
