The raised ford on the Flumendosa, between Villaputzu and Muravera, has been reopened. The company appointed by the Municipality has in fact just finished the work: the ford had been closed following the rains of January 17 and 18.
"The 150 thousand euros allocated by the Region for the maintenance of the ford", clarified the mayor of Villaputzu Sandro Porcu, "envisage continuous and scheduled interventions over time, approximately two interventions per month, to allow the ford and the relative driveway to always be passable and passable".
Maintenance that will continue until the iron bridge, closed since December 9, 2023, is reopened. "In the next few days," added the mayor, "there will be a summit in the Region with all the bodies involved to find solutions that can significantly accelerate the work on the iron bridge."
