Mushrooms did not kill salesman Luigi Gulisano, 79, and his wife Marisa Dessì, 82 , whose bodies were found lifeless on Thursday afternoon in the living room of their home in via Ghibli, Cagliari.

According to the first leaks, which have yet to be confirmed, the mushrooms found in the apartment have already been examined , although not yet with the necessary laboratory tests, by the experts of the Mycological Institute of the Health Service, and the answer was that they were all classified as "food", therefore not poisonous.

If it was a case of poisoning, and only the toxicological tests ordered by the Prosecutor's Office will be able to say this, it will therefore be necessary to look for some other food present in the fridge and in the pantry of the house , or to understand what the lethal substance ingested was.
