Sassari, trips on the sidewalk and breaks her nose: elderly woman rescued by 118

Sidewalk traps in Sassari.

In Corso Vittorio Emanuele, an elderly lady tripped on the pavement, shortly before 5 pm, falling face first onto the asphalt in front of the Quattro Colonne.

The woman suffered a lesion on her nose from which abundant blood was coming out and was immediately helped by passers-by who alerted 118.

Considering the serious wound, the operators put the woman on a stretcher and took her to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata hospital.
