"Donate, donate in August too." The appeal comes from Dr. Mauro Murgia, head of the transfusion center at the San Martino hospital in Oristano.
«In July we recorded a good flow of traveling collections but, despite this, we found ourselves in difficulty because few donors continue to show up at the hospital. All this could also be repeated in the month of August. And, given the critical situation throughout the Region, we certainly cannot rely on the other centers."
Meanwhile, the collection days organized in collaboration with the provincial Avis and the local branches of the same association continue. In Oristano all those who want to donate can come from Monday to Saturday, from 8 to 12, at the hospital centre. But the angels of donations from the local Avis sections throughout the province will also be present in their offices: Saturday 3 August in Suni, Sunday 4 in Mogoro and Cabras, Friday 9 in Bosa, Saturday 10 in Bauladu and Sunday 11 August in Marrubiu and Baressa. Again on Saturday 17th in Paulilatino, Sunday 18th in Ghilarza and Arborea, Wednesday 21st in Bosa, Saturday 24th in Solarussa and Sunday 25th in San Nicolò d'Arcidano and Ales. Finally Friday 30th in Laconi and Saturday 31st August in Santa Giusta.
