These are the sentences pronounced in a video message that a fifty-three-year-old from Olbia sent to his ex-partner. One of the many, with death threats, sent before ending up in prison.

The news of the arrest emerged today: the man was transferred to a cell because, according to the prosecution, while under house arrest, he had continued to contact the woman and try to make her life impossible.

The handcuffs for stalking were snapped on for the first time last October 18, when the fifty-three-year-old had chased his ex-partner by car: on board, when he was stopped by the carabinieri, acid and gasoline had been found. Material that he had brought with him with the intention of killing, according to investigators.

Handcuffed, he had been placed under house arrest. But he had continued with the threats and the precautionary measure was aggravated, with the transfer to prison in Sassari.
