Having grown by 5 percent compared to the same period of 2023 across the island and by 8 percent compared to the pre-pandemic year, the percentage of arrivals in the Gallura city increased by almost 6 percent compared to 2023 and by 28 percent percent compared to 2019 .
The positive trend is in the numbers recorded at the Costa Smeralda: 188 thousand passengers disembarked at the Olbia airport from 1 to 15 July, 10 percent more than in 2023 and 29 percent more than in 2019 . And, in contrast with the trend of the other island ports which recorded a slight decrease, the White Island showed growth: 192 thousand passengers landed at the port of Olbia, marking an increase of 1.45 percent compared to the year last and 17 percent compared to five years ago .
