The vast reinforced concrete bases had been documented in April, in the Unione Sarda: impressive infrastructures for the installation of the gigantic wind turbines between Musei and Domusnovas. Just as the transit of the enormous steel blades to be installed on rotors placed dozens and dozens of meters high had not gone unnoticed : to allow this, traffic on State Road 131 had also been closed.

Now the wind towers owned by a company that arrived from Piedmont to exploit the wind of Sardinia are starting to be planted: a large steel pole, the first of a long series, visible from kilometers away, was driven into the ground last weekend, awaiting the installation of the blades that will have to turn to produce energy. A part of the enormous quantity required from the Island to also power the Peninsula. Except that the landscape is being scarred only here.

The work is not finished yet: the rotor and blade are still missing, to climb even higher. And block the horizon.
