Elia Di Genova, a 26-year-old Roman trapper known as " Elia 17 Baby ", was stopped by the carabinieri of the Olbia company on charges of attempted murder.

He would be the protagonist of the brawl with stabbing that took place on the beach of Marinella in the night between Saturday and Sunday.

For that episode, a 35-year-old from Sassari, wounded in the back with a knife, ended up in hospital and risks paralysis .

The trapper, who has thousands of followers, was identified thanks to the testimonies collected by the military who have reconstructed the whole story. The carabinieri tracked him down to a hotel in Porto Cervo where he had taken refuge in a friend's room.

The arrest for attempted murder was agreed in agreement with the prosecutor of Tempio Pausania, Gregorio Capasso, who is coordinating the investigation. The trapper is now in the Sassari prison of Bancali .

The lawyers representing Di Genova, Pietro and Gian Maria Nicotera from Rome have heard their client. They await the hearing to validate the arrest to find out the details of the affair.

It is not the first time that the trapper ends up in the headlines: in 2021 he was arrested for drug dealing and also got into trouble for a fight with some tourists in Villa Borghese, in Rome.
