Assemini, firefighters save a dog trapped in barbed wire

Maybe he was trying to escape, or maybe it was just a game gone wrong. The fact is that the Cagliari firefighters intervened this morning, shortly before 10, in the countryside of Assemini to rescue a dog, stuck in the barbed wire of a fence of a piece of land.

The accident occurred in Sant'Andrea. The team, once they reached the animal, worked to free it from the metal wires that trapped it.

The rescue was completed and the dog was entrusted to the care of a veterinarian at a nearby shelter, where he was taken into foster care.
