Cagliari, the capital of cinematographic art for one evening. On Friday, December 6, the city welcomes one of the most profound and restless screenwriters of Italian cinema, Sandro Petraglia, to receive the prestigious L'Alambicco Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony will be held at 8:00 pm at the Regina Margherita Hotel.
Sandro Petraglia is not just a screenwriter, he is a narrator of our reality, a witness who knows how to penetrate the heart of social conflicts and the darkest folds of the human soul. His pen has given life to stories that tell of a complex Italy, between social conflicts, political turbulence and human dramas. From the collaboration with Nanni Moretti in “Bianca” and “La messa è finita”, to the narrative mastery in “La meglio gioventù” and “Romanzo criminale”, up to the contemporary investigations of Suburra, Petraglia has built, scene after scene, our collective memory. But the real encounter with the Cagliari public will not end with formal recognition: on Saturday 7 December, the maestro will hold a free screenwriting seminar, offering enthusiasts and professionals the opportunity to immerse themselves in the creative process that has marked his career.
Accompanying the awards evening will be the critic Jean Gili, the director Wilma Labate and the president of Alambicco, Alessandro Macis, for a dialogue that promises to reveal the secrets of his art. Making the evening even more special will be the musical performance of maestro Romeo Scaccia on the piano.
