The measures on healthcare, drought and airports, but also the opposition's considerations on the first hundred days of the legislature.

These are the topics addressed today in the regional council hall during the general discussion on the 250 million euro budget adjustment.

The session closed with the intervention of the budget councilor Giuseppe Meloni. Eighteen councilors spoke, including the group leaders.

The majority and minority speakers, the president of the third commission Alessandro Solinas (M5S) and Giuseppe Talanas (Forza Italia) opened the proceedings.

On several occasions, the center-right has highlighted the opportunity to allocate more resources to reduce waiting lists, perhaps using the 30 million expected for the acquisition of shares in the merger process of the Sardinian airports.

On the other hand, the group leader of the Reformers Umberto Ticca underlined, "it makes no sense to block 30 million that will not be spent immediately".

The president of the Progressives Francesco Agus pointed out that the «resolution of healthcare problems does not depend on the number of resources allocated, we are in a phase in which there is certainly no shortage of money».

The proposal of FdI deputy group leader Fausto Piga is being discussed, as he announced an amendment in the Chamber to repeal the law on staff approved at the time of Solinas, "then much contested by the centre-left and M5S and today instead used by this majority".

The meeting was adjourned until Tuesday afternoon at 3.30pm. Monday 5 August is the deadline for submitting amendments.
