Rebecca and Greta, Silver Butterflies
The two 16-year-olds placed second at the pole dancing world championships in SwedenVideo di Giovanni Lorenzo Porrà
That lightness that before the body is in the heart, that makes dancing natural, and every gesture intense and delicate, like a leaf carried by the wind. Rebecca Pitzanti and Greta Teng dance and almost fly, with the same spontaneity in the gym or in front of the world. Both sixteen years old, Pole Dance champions, from Sestu to Uppsala in Sweden for the world championship, they obtained silver in the Artistic Pole Junior Double category. For Rebecca also a fourth place in the Artistic Pole Junior Mixed category.
Happiness
"There is the joy of reaching this goal, and it doesn't go away, but also the emotion of seeing so many dancers," Rebecca recalls. Greta adds: "Then it was beautiful and special to perform with my partner." Together they brought a choreography: "She played the tiger, I played the tamer," Rebecca recalls; almost shy, when they talk about it, and then without fear on that stage. "Of course before performing there is tension, then comes an adrenaline rush, and the feeling of doing something beautiful, with the applause of the audience," Rebecca continues; "we worked hard on the choreography, and we wanted to show it to everyone," Greta continues.
