Raped by a stranger near a bus stop. Victim a 14 year old who was waiting for the bus in Bolzano, Friday evening, at 7:30 pm, in the Casanova neighborhood.

The young woman was sitting under the shelter when she was approached by a 40-year-old man of Pakistani origin, resident in Bolzano, who asked her for directions. The girl immediately understood that the request for directions was just a pretext to approach her and tried to move away, but was blocked by the man who dragged her to a dark area behind the shelter where the violence occurred. Only after about fifteen minutes did she manage to escape towards a passerby who - seeing the girl in tears - immediately called 112.

Several patrols from the Police Headquarters and an ambulance intervened on the scene, which took the victim to the hospital for checks and treatment. Thanks to the indications given by witnesses who had seen the man running away, the officers intercepted and stopped him within a few minutes, while he was boarding a bus headed towards the historic center of Bolzano . He was taken to the Police Headquarters and his identity was ascertained.

This is a 40-year-old Pakistani citizen, with a specific precedent dating back to a few years ago. The controversy with Minister Matteo Salvini was immediate, who asked on Instagram: "Let's see if there will also be a judge in this case who will force us to keep this precious foreign 'resource' in Italy too..."

The attacker, according to what has been learned, had been legally resident in Italy for years and had always worked regularly in the restaurant business. A resident of Verona, he had recently arrived in Bolzano as a guest of a friend to work in a restaurant. On Saturday, the investigating judge confirmed the foreigner's precautionary custody in prison, due to the possibility of repeating the crime.
