55 years of Fluorsid, Tommaso Giulini in Silius: «Let's enhance the mining heritage, no to wild wind power»

The appeal of president Tommaso Giulini who celebrated 55 years of his Fluorsid in Silius. For the company, a return to its origins to recover memories and recompose the mosaic of memories. Giulini, the administrators and the employees reached the Gerrei mine, where industrial activity began in 1969 under the aegis of Count Carlo Enrico Giulini, founder and father of the current number one of the world leading company in the fluoroderivatives sector . Doing the honors were the municipal administration, with the mayor Antonio Forci, the Pro Loco, the miners' association and other local entities, who welcomed Giulini and all the workers and then offered guests a tour of the town, between history, traditions and strengths of agri-food.
It all started in the Silius mine dedicated to the extraction of fluorite, which could soon have a new life.
