Silvio Berlusconi's great friendship with Vladimir Putin , never completely renounced even after the invasion of Ukraine, faltered at a certain moment.

Precisely in 2013, when the Cav doubted the Russian president, who had shown him, in the words of Fabrizio Cicchitto , "a violent nature that I couldn't imagine in such a kind and rational man" .

We are in 2013, the leader of Forza Italia visits Putin in a Russian dacha. Upon his return he told everything to his spokesman Paolo Bonaiuti and to Cicchitto, who at the time was group leader in the Chamber.

And today Cicchitto himself reveals the details of that mysterious visit in an interview with the Corriere, reporting what Berlusconi told him on his return to Italy.

«Putin told me: 'Silvio, let's go hunting'. I didn't want to go, I've never touched a rifle, but he insisted and I accompanied him. When we arrived in the woods he gave me a rifle, and I was already feeling anxious ."

While the two were walking in the snow, Putin saw two roe deer and said to Berlusconi: "That's yours, shoot." «But I – said the Cav – made him understand that I would never shoot, so he shot them both and killed them . Then he looked at me satisfied: 'Today I will offer you extraordinary food'."

After killing the animals, Putin «caught them with a knife, cut one open and took out its heart. Then he had a man from the escort deliver a wooden tray , he gave it to me and put that piece of bloody meat on top: 'It will be an exceptional meal'."

Berlusconi felt bad: " I hid behind a tree and vomited ."
