Nuccio Floris, a former banker from Sinnai, presents himself once again with his extraordinary collections with a dive into the past between habits and customs. From May 3rd to 5th, Floris will present an exhibition of barber calendars in the council room of the old town hall of Sinnai, in Piazza Chiesa. A collection of 200 almanacs from 1893 to 1988, each more extraordinary than the last.

«Between the barber and his customers - says Floris - a relationship was established which was also made up of complicity which was consecrated every year on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, with the kind gift of the scented calendar. A special gift that was usually repaid with a tip. It was a paperback format with the pages held together by a string with a bow closed in a transparent bag. A very welcome gift, indeed awaited by the barbershop customer. The exhibition which will open on May 3rd will host two hundred of them. Are so many. All destined to have great interest. For years - says the collector, a former banker - I have been involved in exhibitions that tell the story of the beautiful past and which I regularly present to the public and connoisseurs".

Among the many exhibitions presented in recent years by Nuccio Floris, worth mentioning is the photographic one on Sardinian noble coats of arms, with a summary of the history of the Sardinian nobility and with the exhibition of 17 paintings with 136 coats of arms. Among others, those of the Aymerich, Villasanta and Sanjust.

In the past, Floris has also organized exhibitions on mini cheques, Army calendars, photos of the Poetto huts and religious images. On May 3rd at the inauguration of the extraordinary exhibition (6.30 pm) there will also be some owners of old barber salons. Success and curiosity are guaranteed.
