Cagliari, car catches fire while driving in via della Pineta
Two parked vehicles and the facade of a building were also damaged

First the smoke, then the flames: a car, a Ford Focus, caught fire this morning around 6.30 while it was driving in via della Pineta, at the intersection with via De Gioannis, in Cagliari .
According to what has been learned, there were young people on board. The alarm was immediately raised with the arrival of the firefighters: the team put out the blaze in a short time but the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Two parked cars were also damaged, hit by the heat, like the facade of the building next door, which had been renovated a few weeks ago.
It is still unclear whether the person who turned up on the spot when a Guardia di Finanza car passed was driving the vehicle when the fire broke out.
